It's a Small World

with Grandma & Grandpa celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary

The 6000 miles from San Francisco to London never felt so short! I love that in just 10 hours my family and I can get together and that we do it regularly. There always seems to be a reason to visit, be it to celebrate a wedding, birth, special birthday or Jewish holiday. In between times we stay closely connected by phone and video chat through the internet.

My family is very supportive about me adopting a child.
They are excited to have a new member of the family and for me to experience the joys of parenting. They know that I will provide my child with a happy childhood filled with great opportunities, much like my own. I plan on sharing many values and traditions that I learned from my parents and grandparents. Now that I will have dual citizenship -British and American, I hope this will give my child more opportunities to both countries and cultures, and look forward to spending summers in England appreciating its
rich history and old traditions.
