I have always loved children and have wanted to be a parent for many, many years. Every experience I have had with children has prepared me and brought me closer to this point of adopting a child.
I am an uncle a couple of times over, having had the honor of being present at my nephew’s and niece’s births; a ‘godfather’ to a twelve-year-old boy; and am a regular and active presence in the lives of many friends’ children.

I have worked with children since a teenager; volunteering at a day camp at my local temple, as a camp counselor through the Camp America Program, and for the past ten years at a residential summer camp for underprivileged children. I have taught children in various capacities, including teaching English to children in South Korea. These have been some of the most profound experiences in my life.
