My name is Simon Orchover from San Francisco, California. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share a little about myself, and thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Knowing that love, respect and dignity are at the heart of adoption, I also realize that your decision to allow another to raise your child takes enormous courage and trust. I am deeply moved by this and believe that these qualities will be a fine example to your child.

I am committed to a fully open adoption and appreciate the importance and value for a child to stay connected to her/his birth mother and birth family. I have come to know that it is a wonderful way to provide a child with a strong sense of self-esteem and belonging, and envision this experience enriching all our lives. After all, a child can’t have too many people in her or his life that love them!
